History of D-Patrick:

In 1949, two brothers, Bernard and Joseph O'Daniel, founded the Key Motors automobile dealership at the corner of Fifth and Walnut Streets in downtown Evansville. From 1958 through 1973, the dealership experienced tremendous growth both in sales volume, the number of brands sold, and with the addition and acquisition of multiple dealership locations. In 1973, D-Patrick O'Daniel, son of Joseph O'Daniel, gained full ownership of the dealerships, which still operated as separate entities.

In 1982, after the company had continued adding franchises, D-Patrick, Inc. was formed bringing all dealerships together with one name. Then, in 1998 after completing the NADA dealer candidate program and filling multiple management roles within the dealership Mike O'Daniel and Ray Farabaugh purchased D-Patrick, Inc. from D. Patrick O'Daniel. Since that time D-Patrick has added multiple locations into the company fold and expanded the D-Patrick body shop and glass business to be one of the largest in the Evansville Area.

To date, D-Patrick, Inc. now carries nine vehicle lines, has 7 showrooms, 4 service departments, 4 parts departments, 3 body shops, a corporate office, and employs approximately 200 people in a variety of positions.
